Gillford Park have announced this evening that they will travel to Lancaster tomorrow evening to play Unibond Leaguers Lancaster City. City had originally planned to play League One outfit Blackpool FC but the Lancastrians were let-down at short notice and asked Gillford for a game in their place. Facing a free evening after games against Workington Reds and, more recently, the Newton Rigg Development side were cancelled (the latter to be re-arranged for next week) Gilly were only too happy to oblige. The Unibond League club, who played last season in the Conference North before going into administration and being demoted two rungs of the pyramid, have floodlights at their Giant Axe ground and therefore the game will kick off at 7.30pm - entry free. With the new minibus ready and working there will be travel put on to this game for anyone who wishes to go and watch, and this will leave the Railway Club at around 5pm. |
