Ten up for Gillford Park

Gillford Pak's season tally against Alnwick Town emphatically rocketed past the ten-goal mark yesterday, as the Carlisle side defeated last season's relegated Northern League team four-nil, at St James' Park.

New-signing Graham Goulding scored twice in only his second appearance for the club while experienced midfielder Steve Skinner and Kyle Armstrong also got their names on the scoresheet.

With Walker Central and Heddon both in cup action, the win lifted Gillford back into the promotion places three points behind leaders Walker, and one point ahead of third placed Heddon with a game in hand.
