Forty-two days after we last scored more than one, and forty-two days after we last tasted victory, Gillford Park were again on the winning side yesterday afternoon as a Steve Skinner brace and another mark for Dan Rayson secured a win over League Cup hosts, Newcastle East End Railway. Debuts were handed to two players including Gary Milne who joined the club from Northern League Penrith Town, and with Gavin Armstrong on form in the nets the home side could muster only one in reply, seeing the ex-Annan 'keeper also keep out a match-turning penalty. In the draw for the next round Gilford Park have been handed a stiff visit to Heddon, who are currently second in the hunt for the Premier Division title. The full draw is;
