At the clubs AGM, held at the Carlisle and District Railway Club on the 17th June, there were announced several changes to the committee of Gillford Park FC. Chairman, Michael Bell, officially announced his resignation, citing the stress involved and the difficulty attached to fitting in his attendance at meetings around his own flooring business. General Manager, Geoff Andrews, spoke for the whole committee in thanking him for his assistance and support while noting that he would be welcome back at anytime. The previous Vice-Chairman, Steven Skinner, will now be Acting Chairman and Dave Cameron Acting Vice-Chairman while the club search for someone to fill this role on a permanent basis. Meanwhile, Secretary Mike Linden announced his decision to step-down from the post, but noted his intention to continue in the role until a suitable replacement has been found and, if required, to assist that replacement while they 'find their feet'. He will continue to sit on the committee of the football club. The position of Press Officer has been passed to Harley Freemantle, who will combine the duties with running the programme and website.
