TOWARDS the end of last night's match one fan was heard asking, 'Will this go down as a hard-fought derby or a pile of s**t?'. The answer depends very much on your point of view. An optimist would say neither team deserved to lose. A pessimist would say neither team deserved to win. A spiritualist would say the result doesn't matter, as the game was played in friendly fashion. A surrealist would say there weren't enough flamingos in the bath tub. A realist would say a draw was probably a fair result. Neither team ever really had a hold on the game with both Gillford and Harraby enjoying spells of dominance, but despite the visitors forcing a goal-line clearance and Gilly hitting the bar, chances were relatively few and far between.
