Leroy set to please the crowds

Carlisle musician Leroy Johnson is set to entertain the crowds at Gillford Park Football Club in February.

He will bring his 'Leroy Johnson and The Flicks' group to the Carlisle and District Railway Club, a partner of the football club, on February 22nd. The concert will begin at 7.30 pm and tickets are priced £5.

Johnson began touring in 1989 and has been on the road ever since, playing with his father Tony in theatre musical and performing concerts in Sunderland FC's Stadium of Light, and on mainland Europe. Leroy and Tony even appeared alongside Joe Cocker, Mark Knopfler, Van Morrison and Chris Farlowe in a charity concert at the Royal Albert Hall.
