Neither side could feel satisfied as Gillford Park scraped through with a point, after a poor performance against a rejuvenated Peterlee team that were probably value for the win. Gillford were forced to score from a penalty after Peterlee took the lead on forty-four minutes, though the visitors had put the ball in the net ten minutes before but scorer Howe was ruled offside.
